Basically - the only ones that will allow charging while USB devices are connected appear to be the Apple own ones, which cost a ridiculous amount of money for what they are. General opinion was to not buy the one with the HDMI port. All the third party ones seem to not allow charging at the full rate. - some reviews even saying that the battery just stayed at the same % the whole time. So - can't recommend any to you. I am still looking. Chevetaigne Posted August 11, 2016 Share Posted August 11, 2016 It's a good idea to research a USB-c cable brand before using it - some brands in the past have been known to cause serious damage to hardware.
