Onca4242
Had this software recommended by one of the professional photographers I follow, and am loving the power and smoothness of it. However, my landscape photography work flow is highly dependent on the use of luminosity masks. Is there any way to easily create luminosity masks (similar to Jimmy McIntyre's photoshop action package), or do you have to manually create each one? If you do, is there any tutorials on how to create them? Also, as an aside, how does one create dodge / burn layers?
Staff Callum Posted October 23, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 23, 2015 Hi Onca4242, Welcome to the Forums :) You have to manually create Luminosity Masks at the moment, there is a tutorial showing you how to do that here. I hope this helps. C JFisher 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
anon1
dodge and burn layer is easy layer > new fill layer, make it 50%grey and use blend mode soft light (of course - just one possibility) then use the dodge and burn tool, holder alt while using one of the two switches to the other one temporally with custom keyboard shortcuts there is also a customizable keyboard shortcut for setting the foreground color to 50% grey, this comes with the next MAS update or you can use the current beta version
