Staff stokerg Posted May 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 18, 2021 Hi @thomas pickeringand Welcome to the Forums, I've request the file to be looked at, to see if it can be recovered. Sadly i can't give a time frame on when i'll have an answer but i'm hoping it won't be too long
Staff stokerg Posted May 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 18, 2021 Hi @thomas pickering, I've just heard back and sadly the file is missing too much data and can't recovered So you would need to go back to your older backup copy.
PaoloT
This is something very important to check at the development table. By comparison, InDesign has been one of the most unstable programs on my Macs, but it has never lost a single file. Paolo
BillCMartin
Can someone explain why Affinity Publisher is now regularly having a problem with file corruption? I’ve been having the same problem for 2 weeks now. The result is that I now can’t rely on Publisher to produce my catalogues. I’m having no file corruption problems with any other files or software on my iMac. My hard drive seems to be in good order, with no bad sectors. I’ve split my document into 4 sections, in case it was a memory or file size issue, but I still get the problem. It would be good if Publisher could get back to being reliable again.
