What symptoms do you have?

yes. I wrote that for RX 5500 is in my desktop i know i have to wait but my laptop Intel 620 is NOT working neither and intel HD 620 IS NOT Radeon RX so what it can be done with AMD update with Intel chip? Or it's really not vendor but Serif devs problem!?

No problem with this, dear Joachim. But what one can do with that problem?

You might give us a screenshot of the message you get when trying to activate hardware acceleration. And also of the output of dxdiag (the display tab for your Intel 620).

Also, you might start and stop your Affinity application, and then give us its Log.txt file. To find it:

  1. Press the Windows key and R.
  2. Paste this into the box: %appdata%\affinity
  3. Press OK.
  4. In the File Explorer box, select the application (e.g., Photo).
  5. Select 1.0
  6. Attach the Log.txt file here.

Actually, I did not know why it listed 2 devices here.

Isn't this what is needed to make it work? So someone like @Mark Ingram has to solve this riddle?

I'm not sure why it's skipping the device ("(Skipping unsupported device)" in the log file). There are several reasons for this. I'm actually improving this as we speak, so keep an eye on beta updates. For ref: The Intel 620 should be supported.

What does DXDIAG say it supports?

That's because it only supports D3D Feature Level 11.1. That GPU is in the Haswell chip, and the earliest supported Intel GPU is in the Skylake chips.

@Subclavius, if you were buying one today, I would recommend an NVIDIA card, purely because of the AMD OpenCL driver bug which has led us to disable hardware acceleration for the most recent AMD cards in the 1.9.1 patch. Hopefully we can work with AMD to get it sorted, or we can perhaps find a way to work around it, but I can't say how long that might take.

Hello Mark, any news regarding this situation? its almost half year and im running radeon 6800XT without HW A ....
