Hi there, i have some certificates fed from *XLSX via Data Merge. In table there are four columns: name, date of birth, certificate number and date of issue. No matter how many people in rows i have, last certificate is generated with last two fields filled. If i have 10 people there, 9 are ok, last one is generated without cert. nr. and date of issue. If i have only single one, last two fields are missing again.

Can you provide a sample XLSX file, perhaps with dummy data, and a sample .afpub file (before the merge) that illustrate this?

Thanks.

Worked fine for me, so may be a Mac-specific issue. What release of MacOS are you running, and what release of Publisher?

Not sure why it worked for walt but here on my Mac the problem was that there was an initial serial number and Issued Date (not date of birth) missed. This is due to the fields being outside, not inside, the Data Merge Layout layer.

Move them inside and all is well.

For this type of thing I wouldn't use the Data Merge Layout, I would only use that for things that need several records on a page/sheet of paper.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2
Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
