Sandi T Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) One of the power user features of Paint.Net, is that if you take a screenshot or clip - you can start Paint.Net with no file open, click CNTRL+V and it opens a new file the size of the image on the clipboard. Is this possible to configure in Affinity Photo? Edited May 11, 2021 by Sandi T Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) Hi and welcome to the forums @Sandi T, If you have your "screenshot or clip" set to save to the clipboard then you can use the default Command + Option + Shift + N on the Mac or (I am guessing here) Control + Alt + Shift + N on Windows. this will work in Photo and Designer but not Publisher because it doesn't have a New from Clipboard Menu item. Edited: Thanks Walt. Edited May 11, 2021 by Old Bruce Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Perhaps you meant Cmd + Opt + Shift + N? (And yes, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + N on Windows.)
