Inserting Table tool not working and Crashing on Table Edit

You are probably over a Text frame, either on the actual page or a master page. Move to somewhere without a Text frame and use the table tool to put the table on the page and then move it where you want it.

In the video, like in a test document I tried, the Frame Text layer is locked. I thought that would prevent the Table Tool from switching to a text cursor but it does not. Temporarily HIDING the Frame Text layer does work.

Seems buggy to me.

@tonywaghorn Is the crashing only happening with this table when you try adjusting the Insets? Have you tried copying it to an empty document to see if the crash still occurs? Another option would be to create a new document and insert a new table to see if a crash also occurs.
