Hi everyone;
Ii have a frame picture from which I want to erase the white background in the middle in order to generate an "empty frame png" (see attached file).

In Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo, I am missing the boolean tools or better said the "Subtract function" on the top right window.

What is the fastest way to cut out the white background of my frame please? (And the fastest way to get back the boolean tools).

Set the blend mode to Erase for the inner image. To get the boolean buttons (back) visit menu View >> Customise Toolbar.

------
Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
