spinhead Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 Could not reproduce this just now, but since the last update, when I add noise, then move the dialog box, another dialog box is left in the old/default position. Closing that dialog box crashes photo. Mac Mini Big Sur, dual monitor, AP 1.9.3 Quote
Staff Chris B Posted May 10, 2021 Staff Posted May 10, 2021 Hey spinhead, I cannot reproduce this either. I've tried with both the live and destructive filters and also tried enabling them both at the same time. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
spinhead Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 I'll keep my eyes open for other factors. Thanks. Quote
spinhead Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 Add live noise layer. Moved the dialog box, leaving a second dialog box behind. Closed the first/moved box, then when I closed the second box Photo crashed. Attaching a shot of the adjustment layers I was working on top of. Quote
Staff Chris B Posted May 14, 2021 Staff Posted May 14, 2021 I still can't get it but I've asked the team to keep an eye out. If you notice the trigger to get the double dialog boxes let me know Can you see if there's a crash report? Open the Console app from Applications > Utilities. In the left hand panel click Crash Reports - you will see a list of Crash Reports. Find the relevant crash report - it should display the app's name in the Process Name column. Right click and select Reveal in Finder. Please send us the .crash file. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

spinhead Posted May 16, 2021 Author Posted May 16, 2021 I think it happens after adding a Recolor adjustment layer. Affinity Photo_2021-05-15-221314_Galway.crash Chris B 1 Quote
Staff Chris B Posted May 18, 2021 Staff Posted May 18, 2021 Thanks for the reports. I am still unable to reproduce this but because you have kindly attached a number of crash reports, I can log this with the developers and hopefully they can see what's going on. spinhead Posted May 20, 2021 Author Posted May 20, 2021 This time it was not immediately after adding a Recolor adjustment, but there was one. And it was not the Add Noise filter but the Halftone filter. Affinity Photo_2021-05-19-164332_Galway.crash Chris B 1 Quote
