That worked. Thanks for the help. Is this something that I will have to do for every design? All of my items were originally curves no text, but when I did what you said it worked.

I believe this is what Silhouette expects - otherwise you will run into trouble when fonts differs or not available. Good thing is you just need to check "export text as curves for font independence" which leaves your text editable in AffinityDesigner - BUT any design on text should be converted nonetheless (you always can keep a hidden duplicate which won't be exported then).

I'm fairly new to designing. Started just teaching myself, but I assume converting a finished design is one of the final steps that should be done before it's put into use?
