Simon_S
Hi all, I have been using Affinity software for quite a while now, and I really love them! I only have one problem, since I have a convertable 2 in 1 laptop/tablet I want to use affinity in tablet mode aswell. However, since it is still the desktop version, I'm missing some vital tools/shortcuts like ctrl+c, ctrl+d or shift, and I'm guessing the Ipad software has those covered in a handy way. Is it possible/recommended to buy Ipad software and use them on my (windows!) laptop while in tablet mode? The laptop/tablet in question is: hp zbook g5 workstation x360 Thanks! GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Simon_S The iPad versions of the Affinity software only run on iPads. The way you use it is irrelevant in this case, it’s the operating system which is important.
Staff Dan C Posted May 9, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 9, 2021 Hi @Simon_S, Welcome to the Affinity Forums As GarryP has mentioned above, Affinity for iOS is only compatible with iPads, my apologies. Many users on our forums have requested a 'tablet' UI for the desktop apps when using such devices - unfortunately this isn't yet available in Affinity but it's certainly something our developers are interested in adding for a future update. I hope this clears things up! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
