Gnobelix
Hello all, Maybe there was a similar question, could not find anything. I have created an address list in Excel with the following column headings, first-name, name, phon, mobile, fax, etc., not all data fields contain data. The data fields are aligned vertically. (written among themselves) I want to hide the empty rows that do not contain any data. So that the lower rows move up one line. In Adobe Indesign, the blank rows slide up if the data fields in Excel are formatted as follows, e.g. "Phon:" @ What I am missing? That it works in Affinity Publisher. Thanks for the help. v_kyr
Probably (I'm guessing here) the APh data merge import doesn't work the same way as InDesigns data import, thus you would have to remove such empty lines afterwards via some search/replace common or regex text pattern. For example, search after empty lines which such contain '\n' (hex 0x0a) under Macs or a '\r\n' (hex 0x0D0A) under Win and replace them with nothing, so these lines disappear. dehskins 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
