Unrealiability due to lagging issues

I was very excited to get a hand over Affinity as my latest substitute for Photoshop, sadly I am very disappointed with its lagging issue.

I did the GPU setup for affinity photo. Restarted the application. The problem still persist

I wish to understand how to solve the lagging | hanging issue it carries which rending in live mode.

 

 

Please help, it is literally testing my patience!

 

using an IMAC, 28gb, 1tb SSD, AMD graphic card along with a Wacom cintiq Pro.

Hey Shovona_Karmakar, welcome to the Affinity Forums.

Which part of the app is lagging and what are you doing?  Are you working in 8, 16 or 32 bit?

Does it lag if you use a mouse as opposed to the Cintiq?
