We are in the process of switching from Adobe to Affinity.

For this we have installed the programs Photo, Designer and Publisher on a total of 5 computers for 5 employees.
Everything runs smoothly on 4 computers and the enthusiasm increases from day to day.

On the 5th computer / employee, the installation went really well and the program could be called, but the program crashes when loading files (tried several). Incidentally, this happens with all three programs. So it is not a single error, because no program can load corresponding files.

There are 2 x MacBook Pro and 3 100% updated Windows 10 computers in use. It is a Win10 computer

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Thomas Rachor.

My suggestion for that Windows PC: look at each application's Preferences (Edit > Preferences), switch to the Performance section, and see if Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL) is enabled. You'll find it at the bottom of the list of options.

If it is enabled, disable it, and see if that resolves the problem.

Affinity 1.9 implemented hardware acceleration on Windows, but there are some serious issues related to the levels of the hardware drivers installed on systems that cause failures in many different areas of the applications.

You're welcome. Too bad that it didn't work. If I think of anything else I'll post here.

oder an der Grafikkarte;

Vielen Dank
