Affinity Publisher crashes when scrolling in text styles

Hallo,

ich stehe gerade "auf dem Schlauch".

Solbald ich im Publisher im aktuellen Dokument die Textstile aufrufe und dort herunterscrolle verweigert er mit den Dienst und friert ein (ohne Feldermeldung). Da hilf dann nur über den Task-Manager den Publisher beenden.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das Problem in den Griff kriegen kann?

I am currently "on the tube".
As soon as I call the text styles in the Publisher (1.9.x Windows) and scroll down there, it refuses to work and freezes (without field message). The only way to stop the Publisher is to use the Task Manager.
Does anyone have an idea how I can get the problem under control?

Wenn Sie ein neues Dokument starten und nur dieses geöffnet haben, kommt es beim Zugriff auf Textstile zum gleichen Absturz? Wenn nicht, können Sie die afpub-Datei anhängen, mit der Sie den Absturz bekommen?

Wir haben ein Problem mit dem Entwickler protokolliert und es scheint nur zu passieren, wenn Affinity die deutsche Sprache verwendet.

If you start a new document and have only have that open, do you get the same crash when accessing text styles?  If not, could you attach the afpub file that you do get the crash with?

We do have an issue logged with the Dev and it seems to only happen when Affinity is set to use the German language.

@Christian5 Turn off Show Samples / Beispiele anzeigen in the the Text Styles panel (through the small hamburger menu top right). Perhaps this helps already.

Problem (hoffentlich) gelöst!

Da muss irgend ein Textstil "korrupt" gewesen sein.

Lösung: Ich habe alle Texstile abgetrennt und gelöscht. Die Formatierungen blieben glücklicherweise erhalten. Nun bin ich dabei, die Stile neu zu erstellen und zuzuweisen. Da habe ich nun gleich die Gelegenheit "beim Schopfe gepackt" und die Logik mit verschachtelten Stilen neu überdacht und eingebracht.

 

Seltsam! Nachdem ich das Projekt nun fertig hatte, habe ich am nächsten Tag die korrupte Datei nochmals geöffnet, und komischerweise funktionierte nun alles wieder.

Was war denn da bloß los? Ich vermute, das längere Ausschalten über Nacht hat das Problem gelöst. Ich hätte wahrscheinlich vorher nicht nur den Computer neu starten müssen, sondern zusätzlich auch noch das Netzteil zurücksetzen sollen. Da hatte wahrscheinlich der Grafikspeicher noch irgendeinen Fehler.

There must have been some text style "corrupt".
Solution: I detached all text styles and deleted them. Fortunately, the formatting remained intact. Now I am in the process of recreating and assigning the styles. So I took the opportunity to rethink the logic with nested styles.

Strange! After I had finished the project, I opened the corrupt file again the next day, and strangely enough, everything worked again.
What was going on there? I guess turning it off overnight for a while solved the problem. I probably should have not only restarted the computer before, but also reset the power supply. The graphics memory probably had some kind of error.
