CUT CONTOUR on iPad PRO - Affinity designer

Hi!

I recently bought an ipad pro for my work (I am a graphic designer) and I am very happy with Affinity Designer.

The problem is that I work with files to print and cut on plotters, and I need to add the CutContour to my EPS so that the machines detect where to cut.

I have tried using the eyedropper, but it detects it as a pink hue and not as CutContour. How can I do it?

I can confirm you need to create a Global Spot Colour in your document for CutContour lines. Please see the below screen recording showing how to create this Global Spot colour, which can then be applied to the lines you need to be cut -

Does a new global spot color need to be created every time you create a new document in Affinity Designer on the iPad Pro?  I was able to create the spot color and it did work, but when I opened another document I had to go through the process again.

Global colors are always stored in document palettes.

You can save them as template, and consolidate all global colors in one template.

it seems there is no other way to transfer global colors.
