dr_who
Hi, On exporting to PDF, all texts with the font Bebas Neue become corrupted. I'm using the 'PDF (for print)' setting. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the issue? In Publisher, the font appears as it is supposed to, it only gets corrupted during the export. kenmcd
Assuming this is the free single font version ... First guess is font cache corruption. - Shut down all Affinity apps. - Uninstall the font - Restart your computer (to rebuild your OS font cache). - Start APub (it should rebuild the APub font cache now) - try exporting again Also could be caused by having installed the font is two different places. So make sure it is only installed once. If you also have the commercial versions installed, or the older free family from GitHub, there will be name conflicts with the single free version. This can also cause font cache corruption.
dr_who
I’m pretty sure I’ve got the GitHub version as the font has a couple of weight variations. Seemingly, all the weight variations have both OTF and TTF versions, the TTF versions being currently disabled according to the macOS Font Tool. Could this perhaps play into it? Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll be sure to try them out!

Could this perhaps play into it? Definitely. Only install one or the other. It appears that Affinity apps scan the font folders and include all the fonts that are found. So if you have have both OTF and TTF installed, it will find both, and you will have a duplicate fonts issue. dr_who
dr_who
Yeah, I uninstalled the whole font family and then only reinstalled the TTF version, seems to be working perfectly now. Thanks a bunch! Hopefully this is of use to others facing similar issues. kenmcd
Baron7
I had the same problem with the Aller font. Thankfully checked out this thread, and found the font was duplicated. Problem has now been solved. dr_who and kenmcd
