lafasta
I need help with the divide function on iPad. I have 2 almost identical shapes that I want to add a colour behind by using the divide function. But when I select divide for each shape they both divide differently. One as desired one not as desired. I attached an image showing the difference. You can see that one divides with a "fill" shape and the other divides with the outline shape. My question is, how do I get shapes to divide consistently? Alfred
If I’ve correctly understood your description of the problem, you need to apply the ‘Expand Stroke’ command to the ‘outline’ version of the eye shape. This will convert it from a stroke to a filled shape, and the ‘Divide’ command should then produce the desired result. lafasta
Thanks for the advice. That’s actually what I did to both versions. I applied expand stroke to both curve drawings, then divide, one produced a shape with a "fill" one produced an outline. It’s strange because both drawings are almost exact.
