Gaylotta Murray
A client wants his logo placed in the video. When I used the logo a white background appeared. How can I remove the white background?
Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @Gaylotta Murray, This would really depend on the formats the Video editing software will accept. I would first try using a PNG export from either Photo or Designer. Just be sure to check the Transparent background checkbox when making a new document to create the Logo, or once it is made turn the transparent background on. in Photo it is the Document > Transparent Background menu item and in Designer it is in File > Document Setup... and then go to the Colour Tab and look there. If your Video editing software won't accept PNGs then you'll need to mask the background out, if your Video Editing software doesn't have masking capabilities then.... I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
