Split Publisher document

Hi, 

when we make a new Publisher document, containing 4 pages, page 2 and 3 are hooked together. 

  1. Is there a way to split these two pages
  2. Is there a way to open a new publisher document w/o merging 2 documents?

In both cases untick Facing Pages, for the first case in Document Setup.
