In our company, we have a few Affinity users. Our Desktops are running with VMware Horizon View and we are trying to implement the Affinity programs as App Volumes. This means the standard desktop does not include the installation, but the App Volume does, and the App Volume with the installed files is mounted into the virtual drive of the Affinity users.

I read the FAQ article ...

... about the location of the License XML file. But this obviously clashes with the App Volume concept, because the Installation would then include the license information of one user.

Instead, it would be nice if the license information would resist in the user context, e.g. in the user's AppData directory, not in "Program Files" or "Program Data". Is there any chance of storing the license information somewhere else, in some area associated with the user and not the computer?

As an alternative, would it be okay to re-use the license information of one user for all users, as long as we purchased enough licensens for every user?
