Hello everyone :)

Is it possible to expand the stroke of a vector brush like the one attached below? (First picture)

It could be helpful with decals and window stickers to be printed and cutted with a cut plotter.

I know there is the menu command "level - expand stroke", but doesn't work (Second picture shows the structure)

Thank you, have a good day :)

It’s not possible, I’m afraid. The only true vector brushes are the ones in the Basic category; all the others are raster textures laid down on vector paths.

So why they are called vector brush? :D

Marketing. It'd be a shame, if a vector design app wouldn't have vector brushes, wouldn't it?

I just found this out and I am super disappointed. :(((

I was praising Affinity tools around, but now I find out Designer doesn't even have a basic vector function like this.
Please fix this, Affinity Team, or else I'm not seeing how anyone can take your products seriously.

Same here, is there any workaround or alternative?

Surely these aren't vector brushes then?
I guess that's why the brush set I bought is labelled "vector based" rather "vector brush"

A real pain to find this out at this stage. Is there an app I can use to trace my brush work to vector?
