kViro
Using AFPUB 1.8.3 for the Mac. I included a URL as part of a flyer that I created (see attached image), then exported it as a PDF. When I copy & paste the URL from the PDF into a web browser, it changes the "tt" of the "https" into a question mark icon (see below). hps://portal.premiervirtual.com/event/register-jobseeker/ Thoughts on what's causing this and how to fix? h_d
At a guess, the "tt" element of "https" has been typed as a ligature rather than two separate characters, and the web browser doesn't know how to display ligatures. Try this: in the Character panel, expose Typography and turn off Standard Ligatures (the 'fl' button): Quote Affinity Photo 2.0.3, Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel. kViro
Beautiful. I'll give that a shot. Okay...that worked. I selected the "https" before going into the typography page to deselect ligatures for it to work. Edited May 3, 2021 by kViro clarifying information added.
