libor
Hello, I have problem with merge visible layers as well as export picture. There are some ugly artefacts on the merged. In my case, it is caused by live filter Clarity. If I use destructive filter Clarity instead of live filter with the same value, the artefacts does not appear. Komatös
Try with deactivated hardware acceleration. You'll find them under edtit -> preferences -> performance. libor
The same. It does not depend on activation hw acceleration.
Staff Chris B Posted May 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 4, 2021 Hey libor, Can you attach the .afphoto file before the merge please? If you need to keep it private, can you upload it here -https://www.dropbox.com/request/GmDEon3nMUR3lBR0RTJl Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Staff Chris B Posted May 5, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 5, 2021 Hey libor, I can see a difference between merging/exporting without the Clarity filter however, this is likely because when you use a live filter layer and export/merge the pixels become baked into the image and can slightly change. I'm not sure if I'd call what I'm seeing 'artefacts' though - would you mind screen shotting what you see so I can compare? Remember to view at 100% too when using live filters. libor
That's annoying. I would assume that I would get the same result in both ways. Well, I'm going to have to accept that I can't use live filters.
Staff Chris B Posted June 7, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 7, 2021 You can - just check them at 100% view and try merging first. Most of them shouldn't change that much. There are pros and cons to using live/deestructive filtters so both should be considered.
