Sophie Marnez
I'm trying to number the pages of a 260 pages book. It used to work great... before ! I've done a number of books and I ever had this problem before. I updated to the last version of Publisher and it's gone weird. The alignement right doesn't work in the text box (everything is left aligned) The font size doesn't work any more Starting with 10, the first number is good and the following are minute... Has anyone encountered that type of problem ? If yes, is is a bug in Affinity or do you know a way to fix it ? Thanks ! Sophie
walt.farrell
Check the formatting applied to that field on your Master Page. With the # selected, check to see if you have a Drop Cap text style assigned. Old Bruce
Hello and welcome to the forums @Sophie Marnez Away from Spine is the alignment you are looking for and just use a Paragraph Style, name it Page Numbers and apply it to the text in the text frame, not the text frame. Applying a Paragraph Style to a Text Frame may appear to work but in practice it doesn't work. Your superscripted digits are going to be more of a hassle. There are a number (pun) of causes, we would be wasting a lot of time guessing and having you try and follow the advice. Give us a copy of the document with most of the pages removed ( pages 1 to 16 will suffice) and you can replace all the text in the main text frames with gibberish if you so desire.
