Metallical Posted May 2, 2021 Share Posted May 2, 2021 Hey there, I was working in a text layer, and needed some random text, so I spammed my keyboard for my needs. Well, this had an unfortunate side effect of hitting some kind of shortcut that has turned off the ability to scale a layer from the center by holding CTRL (I am on Windows). Alfred Posted May 2, 2021 Share Posted May 2, 2021 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Metallical. Did your Ctrl key perhaps get stuck as a result of all that keyboard mashing? I presume you’ve tried closing the app and relaunching it. Have you tried rebooting your PC? If you need random text and you’re using Affinity Publisher you can invoke its Filler Text feature. For general purposes there are lots of ‘Lorem ipsum’ generators on the Interwebs, some more fun than others!
