It is 1 Gb

No wonder it takes that long on PDF export. An Affinity document that fat means you likely have tons of pixel layers or embedded images inside, possibly with adjustment layers and other bitmap effects. All that takes quite a while to flatten when exporting to PDF, depending on your export settings.

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

I meant to ask you if I need to send the file with all image files embedded. The file itself is only 20 Mb. There are no extra layers or bitmap effects.

Export settings are 144 dpi for web.

The file with embedded images takes the same time as the file with linked images.

The same file in earlier versions of Affinity took about 20 seconds to export. The current one 5 minutes.

Do I send? Embedded or linked (is that any use to you?)?

Not for me, I'm not Serif staff. Please upload everything to the link that @Pauls has provided:
