ptrivilino
I am new to Affinity Publisher and I'm sure a seasoned user knows exactly how to make this change: When I create a new document in Publisher, I always see a checker board pattern on the page. This is very distracting when I'm designing a page. How do I change this so a new document will only show a white background? I went through all the preferences and menu options and did not find anything related to the page background. The only solution I have found is to create a box on the Master Page that covers the page and fill it with white. What am I missing? Thanks for your help. PaulEC
Welcome to the Forums. When you create a new document untick "Transparent Background". You can also untick it in the Document Set-up Tab.
