PDF Passthrough with Embedded Font Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I still have some Issues with .1035 on up to date Win10.
Have some PDFs from a client i need to print out, placing them on a new document looks normal on my screen (Passthrough).
But on export i still get font Issues, if i export the document as all rasterized pdf, i get a blank page.

Only workaround i found is to rasterize each linked document layer before printing.

Uploaded the files (i tried different PDF export settings thou).
Seems to be a problem with the Visage Font thats Embedded in the PDF.

Not the first time i have such problem, when i see a font "hickup" i save the pdf as eps in Acrobat, which seems to work fine... but it's kind of a hassle to always check each exported document if everything went well.

Hi!

Found another PDF from a client that isn't working as it should.
Just importing and then exporting as PDF messes up fonts (doesn't matter if X4 or X1).
Rasterizeing the layer before export works, also exporting directly to jpg.

I sent you the PDF as PN @Pauls.

Is this a special font? Perhaps the font manufacturer prohibits the inclusion of glyphs.
When rasterising, the glyphs become unchangeable.
