Emilien
Hi, i'm new on the forum so i don't know if i have to present myself somewhere, if it's the case just let me know and i will do it. I just tried to update my affinty softwares to the 1.9.2 version. Photo and publisher are now up to date but designer don't work. here is the message i get when i hit install : A pop up say : the file exist and is not empty. please choose an other file If i do choose another file, it doesn't work anyway. I'm stuck here and i need this update to open files from a colleague. Also, i'm on windows 10 family (uptodate) on a msi creator 15 computer (if system is informatin are relevant i can tell you more) Thank you for helping me. Did you get a dialog before that asking you to specify a directory for the program to be installed into? If so, what directory did you specify? 1 hour ago, Emilien said: If i do choose another file, it doesn't work anyway. What exactly happens then? Also, what release of Designer are you running now? Emilien
Hi, The only dialog before that was the one with the install button. The suggested folder was the designer folder in my application folder. I was on 1.8.5. Your question put me on the way, so i downloaded the 1.9.1 version. I installed it (it worked) then i tried again with 1.9.2 and it worked as usual. I did not noticed that i skipped a version. So i'm now on the latest version and it's fine. Thank you for your help, Have a great day
