FrancescaDML
Hello! I'm working with Affinity Publisher and suddenly my file is damaged and I can't open it anymore. How can I solve the problem? Thanks in advance for answer
Staff Patrick Connor Posted April 30, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 30, 2021 @FrancescaDML Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums Please can you check your file is not zero bytes, and upload your file to this folder for us to investigate. Also can you provide any information on the operating system that you were using and what type of drive you were saving to when this happened, and whether you have any cloud backup system operating on that folder. I suggest you use a backup of your file, in case we cannot help you or in case it takes a while. Staff Patrick Connor Posted April 30, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 30, 2021 Thank you. I would suggest for now you save to a local drive and copy to your dropbox folder when you wish to back it up Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! Staff Patrick Connor Posted April 30, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 30, 2021 @FrancescaDML There seems to be some corruption in an embedded file(s) the document, but by creating a new file and individually inserting the pages from your file into the new one, we have got most of it back. I have PM'd you a link to a recovered version of your file. Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program!
