Mov
New to Affinity Photo, yesterday had a play editing a photo no problems. Today when I select the adjustments Studio the app shuts down. If I upload a new photo Raw or JPEG the same happens. When I reopen AP the uploaded photo has gone and I have to reload. AP version 1.9.2 IPad Pro, a few months old Any advice as its driving me mad not being able to use this app I have purchased. Many thanks
DM1
Odd behaviour indeed. I would first try resetting iPad to clear any corrupted ram. Hold power button off until you get slider to close IPad. Close and restart. Remarkably this does fix many annoying issues. Let us know if problem persists. Chris B 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Chris B Posted April 29, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 29, 2021 Hey Mov, If it's anew iPad, I'm assuming you aren't running out of storage space as well, right? Please try DM1's suggestion and let us know if you're still having issues. Mov
Yes it a new 500 gb so no issue with storage. I’ve tried resetting but no joy. Even shits down if I select a sample photo and click on the adjustment studio. Is it an option to delete the app and reinstall or would I have to pay for another license? If you purchased from Apples App Store you can delete and download as often as you like. If default storage in Affinity is set to IPad, be sure to backup the files in the Affinity Photo folder as it gets deleted when you delete the app. Also any files on the Home Screen that you want to keep will need to be saved before deleting. Use the 3 bar menu below each project icon. They will be saved to the default folder. Chris B 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Mov
Thanks all. So far I have tried offloading app and re installing a couple of times but no luck. I ended up deleting the app completely and reinstalling. This has worked, although lost a few pictures. It now does not crash. But! After deleting the app and reinstalling, the und/redo buttons have disappeared. Tried deleting and re installing three times but the same each time. Any ideas? Choose ‘Interface’ from the list on the left and then slide the ‘Show Undo and Redo buttons’ switch to the right.
