Crashes on Windows when editing files

Hi @FSiedler,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Firstly I have split your post to a new thread, as I believe it better suits it's own investigation, separate from the issue being reported 3 years ago.

Please ensure you are 'Following' this thread in the top right corner, if you wish to be notified of replies -

Secondly, in regards to the issue you're reporting - I'm very sorry to hear you're having trouble!

Can you please confirm for me:

  • Does the app crash when creating/loading a document/image or do the crashes happen 'randomly' whilst editing?
  • Does this happen for any document/image, or only certain ones?
  • Do you see any error message or crash report on screen, or does the app simply close itself?
  • Can you please open Edit > Preferences > Performance and provide a screenshot of your settings here?

Many thanks in advance!
