Distorting groups

Is it ever likely to be possible to say, select a group of objects and be able to distort the group using nodes instead of bounding box handles?

It may be this is just not possible with vector shapes.

If you want to manipulate the nodes, can’t you simply select the objects within the group instead of selecting the group itself? Perhaps you could provide a little more detail about what you’re trying to do.

P.S. Are you really still on version 1.8.3 of AD, or have you done my usual trick of forgetting to update your sig?

P.P.S. While I’m on the subject of your forum signature, your Shakespearian pastiche (still) has too many occurrences of the word “them” in it. Instead of saying “And by opposing them end them?” it should say “And by opposing, end them?”

A very reasonable request.

In the attached file:

'A' is a QS rectangle

'B' is the same rectangle converted to curves with the left hand nodes moved up and down vertically to create a twist.

I would like to do the same thing with 'C'.
