Publisher on Windows 10 - Crash when adjusting last column in a table

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the forums @JamesFalloon

Thanks for supplying what was required to reproduce the problem.

I can replicate this problem on Windows 10 with Publisher
I had to use Task Manager to kill the non-responsive Publisher task.
I would say it was a bug – quite unexpected behaviour at the very least.

I can replicate too. And there's no crash report.

Publisher seems to have a problem with connected columns. So what have I done? I separated the header and rebuilt it. Then I deleted the first row. Now all columns can be edited without Publisher taking a "permanent pause for thought".

It's not a bug fix, but a quick solution. 🤔

For the Dev's

Affinity Publisher
