FileThirteen Posted April 24, 2021 Share Posted April 24, 2021 I noticed that when holding control while using the pen tool instead of being able to add new nodes to a path it now deletes the segment. I think this is because holding control while using the pen tool activates the node tool and the node tool has a hold control and click to delete segment now. In previous versions if you hold control with the pen tool active it would enable the node tool, then you could click anywhere on the path to add a node at that location. In the new version when you hold control node tool activates then the delete segment part of the tool activates making it so you can never add a new node without manually switching your tool from pen to node. It was probably decided to provide only correction functions. If your tablet or pen has additional keys, you can also place the quick tool switch (P) on one of these keys.
