I've seen moderators say this forum isn't a bespoke forum and is for the most part 'off the shelf'.

Is there an app by the provider or 3rd party that can access the forums at all?

Also, how do the titles change under users? Advanced member/newbie, ex user etc

All I can tell you, having recently reached it, is that you get four blobs at 1000 posts. (Where has my life gone?)

At some point (certainly on three blobs) you can customise your title on your profile page.

The version of the website on my phone (iOS 14, Safari) has a different layout from the desktop version and works quite well, although it's not an app as such.

Affinity Photo 2.0.3,  Affinity Designer 2.0.3, Affinity Publisher 2.0.3, Mac OSX 13, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.

Invision (the provider of these forums) recently released a version 1.0.1 'Community' app, that allows for Invision customers to add their forums to a 'directory of communities' that you can access through their app.

This requires the Affinity Forums to be using Invision 4.5, which is the version we've just recently updated to - however I don't believe we have any plans to add our forums to this 'community' app at this time, though I will raise this with the relevant teams to see if it's something we might be interested in, in the future.

In the meantime as mentioned above, the Affinity Forums are a responsive design and should function fully from any mobile browser.

This 'title' directly under your username (Member) is set automatically by the forums and relates to the number of posts you have made. If you wish to change this you can do so by visiting your Profile page and selecting 'Edit Profile' in the top right. The first option here is Member Title and you should be able to change this as you wish.

The second 'title' under your profile picture (Members) relates to the 'Group' that your account is assigned to for the forums, this cannot be changed and is set automatically by our Group Promotions rules in the background.

I hope this clears things up :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
