ronanski
I have 2 curves with end nodes on top of each other. I have both nodes selected and yet join curves is still greyed out. I literally did the exact same thing seconds before and it worked fine.
Staff Sean P Posted April 21, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 21, 2021 Hi Ronanski, This is working fine for me. Can you share a video and the file you're using that is giving you this problem please? Without either of these we cannot help you.
Old Bruce
Weird, I tried and had the same result as @ronanski and tried again and couldn't reproduce it. Hate that intermittent type of 'bug behaviour' Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I can only "reproduce" it if after snapping both nodes on top of each other I forgot to select the other curve. I.e. make sure both curves are selected first (with "white" nodes), then drag over the stacked nodes which you want to join to select both. ronanski
Yea both curves are defo selected, but yea it does seem to be a very intermittent problem. Very inconsistent. join curves greyed out.mov
squarkersmccaw
I think I found a solution, I had to right click on them and select "break curve after node" and then I could click join curves. May not work for everyone but worked for me.
