Printing the CORRECT Color Match!!

Recommended Posts

Hello... Well, I haven't used Affinity Publisher in a while.  As I mentioned a while back... I 'was' a PagePlus User for a VERY LONG Time, and now you can't.  I thought I'd try A.P. again, since there's been a few updates.
Here's the Problem I'm having... and had back when I first used it, and stopped.
How in he world do you get it to print the SAME Color, as what is on the screen?  I've tried different settings, and it prints the same, no matter what!
I had to switch to MS Publisher, and don't have any problems!
I'd like to use Affinity, but not if it keeps printing the way it does!
Please Help, if you can!
Thanks,

ICC Profile for monitor in OS? ICC profile for document? ICC profile for printer?

Hello, and thanks for your reply, however... I have NO Idea what ICC is! Color me stupid, but.... the only problem I am having with Color Printing, is with Affinity. I've tried it with both, Publisher and Designer.  I NEVER had this problem with PagePlus, which I have NO Idea why you quit PP.

I'm using an HP PC. I have a Canon Printer/Copier.
When creating a Publishing..... I get it as I want it on the PC/Monitor....!  When I print it..... the Colors are not close.
For Instance: I need a Flyer for our upcoming Annual BBQ, and instead of doing it on MS Publisher, I thought I'd give it a try on Affinity, since there have been some updates!
After creating... and using a Graphic with some color: Orange, Yellow, Dark Redish Brown/Light Brown... which is showing on the PC Monitor, but... when Printed, the Orangeish are Brown, the Yellowish are a Light Green/Olive, the Brown is black, and the Redish Brown is dark brown.
I've tried different settings in the Color area on Affinity, and it comes out the same. It's NOT the Printer.

Please... I'd rather use Affinity, but if I can't get it to print correctly... then I'll have to keep using MS Publisher.  Sorry
I've enclosed the two: One is my PC Screen, the other is what's printed.  Hope this helps

I think, solved the Problem!

It might be interesting for other users with a similar problem as you solved it.
