flookoco
A newbie here, in fact I'm not very experienced with vector drawing at all. However over the last couple of years I've managed quite a few object drawings in EazyDraw. In fact I have more than a few and now I want to switch to Affinity Designer, so can anyone please tell me how to import EZdraw files into Affinity Designer? Staff Callum Posted October 17, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 17, 2015 Hi Flookoco, Welcome to the Forums :) Affinity does not support importing EZdraw files however it can import most standard image files such as .PNGs .JPEG .PSD .PDF .TIFF etc. You can convert your EZdraw files to these file types by exporting them from EZdraw. I hope this helps C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
flookoco
Many thanks for your quick reply. I have now tried a few of the export options and it appears that I can actually edit .pdf files in Affinity albeit in a limited way. This is a big help and I really appreciate you taking the time. Staff MEB Posted October 17, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 17, 2015 Hello flookoco, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Besides PDF, you can also export SVG (and EPS) files from EazyDraw and import them into Affinity. flookoco
Many thanks MEB, I have tried the SVG file type and that works really well. Just wish I knew more about these vector file types.
