Pyanepsion
Hi, all, When you put objects edge to edge, exporting to JPG or PNG, for example, adds a border between the two objects (but not in PDF). How to correct this error on raster images? Thanks for your explanations. bordures-effet.afdesign Quote 6 cœurs, 12 processus - Windows 11 pro - 4K - DirectX 12 - Suite universelle Affinity (Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo). ███ Mais je vous le demande, peut-on imaginer une police sans sérifs ? iconoclast
Hi Pyanepsion! You posted in the wrong category. This should belong to "Support & Questions", I think. But anyway, I took a look at your image, exported it as JPEG and PNG, but I can't see any borders between the objects. Possibly an optical illusion (simultaneous contrast?) or something with your display? Don't really know.
Pyanepsion
Thank you Iconoclast for your reply. I can see a border in Affinity Photo and elsewhere. I hope this is just a bad setting. Staff MEB Posted April 16, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 16, 2021 Hi @Pyanepsion, Switch your document units to pixels temporarily, select the objects and check their x,y coordinates and width/height dimensions in the Transform panel. They are not integer values thus don't align with the pixel grid properly leaving these lines you are seeing. If you delete the decimal part of the coordinates and width/height dimensions of these objects they should align perfectly. To prevent this from happening simply enable Force Pixel Alignment in the main toolbar. Note this setting only apply to objects you created after enabling it. You still have to fix the objects you created earlier before enabling the setting. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
