Ron P.
Today while downloading purchases from my account via the app, if the progress-bar is clicked it resets the progress and the download starts over. I realize for a lot of users it's not a big deal, since they probably have very fast internet downloads. I didn't intentionally click on the progress-bar (%), but hit it instead of the view license. For me this is somewhat of a big deal. My internet download speed is 3MBS max. When the download is nearly done after taking about 20 mins, will cause a person to rip their few remaining hairs out of not only there head, but nose and ears too. I'm sure this is as designed, and not a bug, but should be. It should take an intentional act of telling the app you want to cancel the download or restart it. Not doing so would just pause it or do nothing at all to disrupt it. Quote Affinity Photo 2.4..; Affinity Designer 2.4..; Affinity Publisher 2.4..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Staff Dan C Posted April 17, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 17, 2021 Hi @Ron P., Thanks for your feedback here! On 4/15/2021 at 3:10 PM, Ron P. said: For me this is somewhat of a big deal. I agree this should be much clearly, or at least offer an 'Are you sure' option - in my testing just now I have discovered that a 'Cancel Download' tooltip is shown if you hover your mouse over an active download, but as above a tool tip is not clear enough in my opinion to immediately cancel the download with no further confirmation. I will log this with our developers now as an Improvement, as I believe this change would better all customers, even those with faster internet connections. I hope this helps Ron P. 1 Quote Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave.
