Gareth Price
I have several objects in a design, I've no idea how to exclude the background when i export the design, even if i tell it to export only the selections it still ends up with a white background. Joachim_L
Welcome to the Affinity forums @Gareth Price! Which application are you using and what is the file format you are exporting too. Please note, that not all file formats support transparency. In particular, JPEG does not but GIF, PNG, and TIFF all do. lacerto
...as do PSD and TGA. Note too that if this is an export to PDF then there is no background even if it shows as white.

Joachim_L
JPG does not support transparency, but through a research I do know what file formats Pinnacle 16 supports. Quote Image Files Bitmap Files (.bmp) GIF Files (.gif) JPEG Files (.jpeg, jpg) Paintbrush Files (.pcx) Portable Network Graphics Files (.png) Photoshop Files (.psd) Targa Files (.tga) TIFF Files (.tif) Windows Metafiles (.wmf) So you can e.g. try GIF, PNG, PSD, TGA or TIF. OK, thank you, I've got several PNG files that work in my Pinnacle, and I've tried using the same method as before, your PNG tip was the solution, thanks Joachim_L
