Photo macOS - 1.9.3 update message confusion (split)

Recommended Posts

I have a link to
Affinity Photo – Testversion
macOS - Version 1.9.3

By clicking on it I receive a xml file:

<Error>
<script id="__gaOptOutExtension"/>
<Code>AccessDenied</Code>
<Message>Access Denied</Message>
<RequestId>CH0FN8DVZA9HQ5HT</RequestId>
<HostId>

</HostId>
</Error>

As it states: This is an error.

@PC100-Fan

I have split your post off from the Publisher 1.9.3 thread as it is not about that product.

We cannot see anything wrong with permission at our end, so we are trying to get to the bottom of this message for you. Our records show that you seem to have bought Affinity Photo for macOS from the Mac App Store, not the Affinity Store. You should be able to update Affinity Photo within the Mac App Store updates function.

Was this error message displayed when running an old Affinity Photo trial perhaps? Is it repeatable?
