How to change tools response behavior

I switch to affinity designer from heavy app (illustrator), its operation quite perfectly, but I personally have some issues below:
 

- how to fixed expansion panel on studio-view(right side)
- how to make tools pop-up quickly (I do not need the fadein/out animation here, because Alignment tool take 60%+ of my time)
- how to paste a object in the center of the artboard (I usually duplicate the object/ paragraph for mockup, while it paste in the same position and make my eyes blind😎)

Hi  Walt,  thank you for replying newbie

I find the tools path in Affinity Designer is  View/ Studio/ blabla...  (so I called it studio-panel as a fool 😅)
Orange area I use translator to translate Traditional Chinese to English, and it calls "expansion panel" .

so.. did I explain things more clearly?

If you click and drag on the two vertical lines to the left of any studio box you can reposition it on either the left or right hand panels of the interface, to adjust the tooltip pop up time delay you can do this in the UI Interface section of the Preferences.
