Gottardo Zancani
Hi using Designer 1.9.2 I've found a possible bug while exporting on PDF some text objects: the text elements use the font "Vultron Regular Grunge". The rendering on PNG format is correct, as in the example here below while the exported PDF is instead incorrect: In attachment you can find the Designer file and the font. Thanks in advance for your support Regards Gottardo Zancani

Gottardo Zancani
I can see the Zip file in the original post, not sure why you don't find it: re-attaching the zip file here as well. I've used the standard "print" "ready for print" settings: in both cases I got the same result. Thanks in advance
Staff Sean P Posted April 13, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 13, 2021 Hi Gottardo, I actually removed the file from your post, as I believe it is a commercial font which should not be shared. https://creativemarket.com/JumboDesign/692170-Vultron-Vintage-Style-Font I have however reproduced the issue and will get it passed on to development. Gottardo Zancani
Hi any updates on this bug ? This problem is still present in 1.10.1 and effects severa l other fonts (like CynicalHills here attached): I've several Designer documents that I've created before realizing this limit and that I cannot export them in PDF due to this bug; apparently the only choice at the moment is to create a raster image, definitely not a good workaround. Thanks in advance Regards Gottardo CynicalHills.ttf

I tested both fonts in APublisher and ADesigner and see no issues. Below is an image of the PDF output from APub; from Designer it looks the same. Gottardo Zancani
The problem arises when you have a color for the ouPDF bug3.pdfPDF bug.afdesigntline: in attachment the afdesign file and the PDF output. Thanks in advance Very interesting ... with the TTF fonts I get the same results as your PDF. But, if I use OTF fonts it appears to work fine (so that would be the work-around). Below is the OTF fonts Export to PDF output of your document converted to an image and cropped. So there seems to be an issue when converting all those TT outlines within an applied PS outline. Confirmed: replacing the TTF with the OTF solved the problem - I can definitely use this work-around while you identify the issue.
