Changes to compounds within symbols don't propagate to symbol instances

Recommended Posts

I've seen several issues with changes within a symbol not propagating to other instances of the symbol.  I'm not sure if it is because of multiple bugs, or they are just different manifestations of the same bug.  But here's what I'm seeing specifically right now:  I have a compound shape within a symbol.  When I change the operation, the change is not propagated to the other instance(s), even though other changes are.  I've attached a screen recording to demonstrate.

That would be actually a nice optional feature, similar to the selective link options in APh's linked layers.

I’m still seeing this bug on the very latest Windows AD2 Beta.

Has this been acknowledged as a bug? Are there another threads about this problem?

I have a compound within a symbol.  I add a new shape and it defaults to Add boolean. I change it to Subtract within one symbol and it does not change to Subtract in the others.
