Siriusblue
Hello, I updated Affinity Photo yesterday and it is crashing all over the place. If you need more info, I will be happy to supply but for right now: How can I revert my copy of Affinity Photo to the previous version? Thanks and best of luck, Zoe. Alfred
Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Zoe. If you’re using the Microsoft Store version of the app there’s no way to revert (other than by restoring your system to an earlier state) but older releases of the Affinity Store version are available via the following link: https://store.serif.com/update/windows/photo/1 Siriusblue 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
RichardMH
You have turned off OpenCl acceleration?
Siriusblue
I ran the Benchmark from the Help Menu. It's been running for a good hour now and seems to be stuck on the Combined tests. Attached is a screenshot. I have a vague recollection of doing something with OpenCl acceleration a long time ago. Not sure how to find it now. You'll see I have the Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 card. I was running other things in the background so the results are not perfect.
Staff Gabe Posted April 16, 2021 Staff Share Posted April 16, 2021 Hi @Siriusblue Welcome to the forums. Can you try our latest beta and see if it's any better?
RichardMH
You can turn off OpenCL acceleration in the Preferences->Performance. NVIDIA also have an updated studio driver that might/should help. And try the beta.
