Jason Andrews
Hello, I purchased Affinity Photo today, but so far haven't been able to install it on my editing PC (i7-3770s, GTX970, 16GB ddr3, 64 bit Windows 10 Build 19041.) I have tried downloading the .exe file twice. I have verified the file integrity. I have rebooted my PC. I have tried running it as an administrator. I have tried running it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. When I double click the .exe file, two background processes pop up in Task Manager: Affinity Installer, and Affinity Photo Setup. Both are 32 bit processes. Affinity Installer's status sometimes reads 'suspended.' After running in the backround for roughly 10 seconds, both processes disappear. Any idea what steps I should take next? I'm totally baffled by this. Edited April 11, 2021 by Jason Andrews
Jason Andrews
I fixed it! Updating my GPU driver seems to have done the trick. Leigh
