Do you mean cropped like this:

If so it's because of this:

The substitute fonts are much wider than the originals - are Agency and Baskerville Old Face installed on the other machine?

ADD: actually "Rootles" is quite a good name for a movie...

What exactly is being cropped? What is the size supposed to be?

You can try using Document > Resize Canvas... from the menubar to change the size of the canvas. You do have a lot of stuff that is off the canvas in that document.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.2
Affinity Designer 2.3.1 | Affinity Photo 2.3.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.3.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Agency FB and Baskerville Old Face are both supplied with Microsoft Office products.

Although I have Microsoft Office products, I do not have these fonts available.

This just proves, that your previous claim that these fonts are part of all MS Office products, is incorrect.

A subtle difference, and perhaps a difference that is prone to being lost in translation, but I didn’t say they are “part of” all MS Office products. I said they are “provided with” MS Office products, and I didn’t say “all”.

I am not a Microsoft 365 subscriber, but I have those fonts because I acquired them with an Office product two decades ago.

Well, a basic/trivial web search after those fonts, should give enough hits to font sites etc., which offer these fonts, or give informations about them.

I tried to mention this in my previous post, that although I have owned Office for almost two decades (2003, 2007), I do not have these fonts.

However, I probably don't understand your first reaction in this thread at all, when you responded to the h_d query "are Agency and Baskerville Old Face installed on the other machine?", that these fonts are part of Office. So your answer/response to his question/opinion is probably that he is wrong?, because these fonts are commonly available on all PC.

But not on Macs unless the owner has bought/subscribed to Office, or installed the fonts independently. And not on all PCs. There's no indication from @laura98 what the 'different machine' is, or whether it's the fonts that are the issue or not. Until there's a response from her, it's all guesswork.

In her original post Laura explained that her poster looks different when opened on a different machine, prompting @h_d to ask whether Agency FB and Baskerville Old Face are installed on the other machine. I was raising the possibility that a version of MS Office which came with those fonts had been installed on one machine but not the other.

Windows PCs don’t all come with MS Office pre-installed. On my most recent Windows machines I wouldn’t have had those fonts available if I hadn’t previously acquired copies of them.

I'm sorry, but like this I definitely didn't notice your response to "question" h_d, which one you quoted, so I expected a reaction/response (agreement/disagreement).

I would personally see the answer in this context as follows - Yes, and it could have happened, for example, that on one computer ...

On the contrary, I perceived your reaction as - No, this will not be a problem with unavailable fonts, because they are part of MS Office.
